These programs
have been designed to offer a unique approach that entertains and enlightens
audiences of all ages. Not just a show, these programs leave the audience
with a tangible skill, boosting confidence. These programs are also designed
to foster family interaction, and stimulate deeper ties between your institution
and the community. Each presentation includes an award winning show and an
informative demonstration (covering the history and culture of the various
art forms). Finally each session end with hands on participation; each participant
leaves the program with a set of skills and a new set of companions that that
they can share their hobby with. The entire audience will learn to juggle,
perform magic, or make their own balloon animal.
Each presentation has
elements that appeal to children and adults. This shared interest fosters
intergenerational interaction. Children and adults can work together to learn
and build new skills while having fun.
As a professional educator,
with a masters degree in physical therapy, I have studied
the most effective
way to introduce vital information. Utilizing theories of motor learning
and principles of teaching, the presentations have been formulated to provide
the participants with the most productive session possible. People are amazed
that they can learn so much while having so much fun.
